 ”split with Derek”?!? more like removed Derek. To let everyone know, I didn’t decide to “venture into new and uncharted waters” I was kicked out by my friend of 15 years. I still plan on making more music just like the music I wrote for Millions of Brazilians. I’m taking new songs, all the music I wrote for mobz, and posting crappy home demos on tumblr so that people interested in singing on them can hear the songs, and write to them. At the end of this year I’ll be recording a EP with the group musicians on these demos.   Cheers to Nick and Zoz and I hope they become rich and famous so they can pay someone to treat people like shit, so they don’t have to do it themselves.

What is the What

we wanted to keep everyone apprised on the state of affairs in mobz and our future. we went into a dark place for a few months and are now back in the glorious sunlight. however, it is with heavy heart that we announce that we’ve split with derek. it was a decision that will let both mobz and derek venture into new and unchartered waters. due to the immense talent that derek brought he’s being replaced by not one, but two new members, augie vissochi and jon weier.   we’ve already started on pre-pro for the new album “Doom” or “World Fucking Champions” and we will be gracing the stages of music venues very, very soon (please check our calendar of events). we have big plans, we hope to see you soon.
